Traveling shoes

I'm sitting at the gate waiting to board my flight to Charlotte for the weekend. I've positioned myself in a perfect people watching location. It's a grey day in NYC so people have brought out the Uggs again. I'm all about providing solutions when I criticize so that got me thinking, what makes a good traveling shoe. So what gets you through security with an easy slip on slip off? What is comfortable enough to make it through a flight without you feeling like you must free your feet of their shackles? What can be worn with jeans or a skirt if dressing up is necessary once you get to your destination? What can also keep you warm or a day like today? Frye boot! Then again i find the Frye boot is the answer to pretty much any shoe dilemma. What shoes are not appropriate to wear ever ever ever? These moon boots this teenage girls are wearing. Matching boots. One girl in black, one girl in lavender. They literally can't lift their feet off the ground because the boots weigh more their their legs do so they are loudly shuffling through LaGuardia. I don't think they are comfortable, fashionable or practical.

  1. I wear my Frye boots pretty much anywhere but always when traveling by plane. You just can't go wrong. And your blog is hilarious. I was dying reading your previous post. Perfection, Liz. Perfection.
